If necessary, the meteorologist initiates our redundant warning system (SmartWarn®), which sets off alarms delivered to you according to your preference that let you know when to take action. If you don't acknowledge receipt of our warnings within two minutes of us sending them, we use pre-determined escalation protocols and alternate warning delivery methods to insure that you get the information in time to act on it.
